Delhi Pragati Maidan Trade Fair 2018 Tickets Price, Dates and Timings

Trade Fair is organised in Delhi every year during the month of November. It is almost that time of the year, people have marked their calendar for this mega event. After the completion of IITF 2017, it was expected that Trade Fair 2018 venue will be some place in Noida. However, it is a good news for the people of Delhi that it will be organised in Pragati Maidan. After the official announcement by the organising authorities, Pragati Maidan is confirmed as IITF venue.

The Trade fair will be quite smaller than every year, considering the construction happening at the venue. Only 20% of area will be available and hence there will be 800 participants instead of 5000 – 6500 participants. Per day footfall limit would be 25000, to ensure easy management.

The focus country and partner countries would be our neighbours, Nepal and Afghanistan respectively. Pakistan would not be participating, continuing with its feat. The Trade Fair 2018 tickets will be available online and offline. You can buy tickets from 66 metro stations, ticket counter and some online website as well. The tickets are very well in demand, hence booking them on time is very important.

This year, the theme of the fair is Enterprises from Rural India. Some days are reserved for
Business visitors and for rest of days, it is open for general public. Ticket for both categories are different and their price also differs by a good margin. This arrangement is kept in place to ensure that business does not ge hindered by the general public. The place is quite crowded during non business visitor hours, not an ideal scenario for big business deals.

Delhi 2018 Trade Fair Date and Timings

Like every year, the IITF is organised between 14 to 27 November 2018 at Pragati Maidan. The initial four days are reserved for Business visitors. Business days are 14 November to 17 November 2018. From 18 to 27 November, general public can visit the fair. The Trade Fair start date is 14 November 2018 and Pragati Maidan Trade Fair Last day is 27 November 2018. We suggest you to visit the fair during the starting days and the middle days. It is usually crowded but the last few days are the most busy days of IITF. If possible, book the IITF 2018 tickets in advance as it gets sold out very often. Tickets are put on sale by online and offline modes,
convenient for all. The IITF timings are between between 09:30 AM to 07:30 PM on all days.

IITF entry timing is 09:30 AM to 05:30 PM, hence visitors are not allowed to enter for last two hours of the day. It makes the entry and exit gate management easier. These timings applies for all days, for business days as well as general days.

This station falls on the Blue line of Delhi Metro. The metro station is at a very small walk to the venue. It is nearby to the entry gate of the fair. Trade Fair 2018 Entry Gates

Pragati maidan is a very huge veue and it is apt for such a big event. There are many gates of Pragati Maidan and some of them are only used as Trade Fair entry gate. These gates are Gate No. 1 on Bhairon road, Gate No. 8 of Mathura Road and Gate No. 10 near metro station will be used for entry. Gate No. 10 is the nearest entry gate for visitors coming from Pragati Maidan Metro Station.

Trade Fair Facilities and General Information

IITF takes care of various important facilities inside and outside its venue. There are some
shuttle services which are run from Mandi House metro station to the venue, for visitors having valid tickets. The facility of drinking water, cafeteria, washrooms, battery vehicles are also present inside the complex. Multiple CCTVs are also installed, for security purposes. Propers ecurity and safety measures are followed, however people should be vigilant themselves too.
